How we found your business
We found your business on the Companies House register. Where we have an email address or phone number for your business, we found it on your business's own website.
Why we contact you, and our lawful basis
We contact businesses to tell them about our services. We rely on legitimate interests: business to business marketing to limited companies, plcs and limited liability partnerships (LLPs). We only send these emails to companies, plcs and LLPs, and you can tell us to stop at any time.
What we keep
- Company details from Companies House, such as the company name, number, address and officers.
- The name and role of the person we contact.
- A business email address and phone number.
- The emails we send you and any replies.
- Which links in our emails were clicked.
- Notes from any phone calls with you.
- If you tell us when your current contract ends: the date, your current provider, the services it covers, the postcode of the premises and any notes you add, so we can contact you about 2 months before that date.
We do not track whether you open our emails. Our emails are sent and stored using Microsoft 365.
How long we keep it
If we don't take things further with your business, we delete its details after 6 months. If you ask us to stop, we keep a short record (such as the email address, phone number or company number) so that we never contact you again.
If you have told us when your contract ends, we keep those details until we have been in touch about it.
Your rights
- Object: you can object to our marketing at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails, reply "no thanks", or call us, and we will stop.
- Access: you can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correction and erasure: you can ask us to correct or delete it.
- Complaints: you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
